I would sign the petition, I agree with you smoky, that Coffey should have been eliminated in the beginning of the show. I feel Ashlee was the scapegoat in the end, they really had a lame excuse for her, ie., not being able to understand her. Heck there are many performers I cannot understand when they sing some songs.

I hope tonight is not a big disapointment, I am a Melissa fan, but would be okay with Gabe winning if he is the favorite.

Lets hope NBC has been reading all of our thoughts and realizing just how many country music fans there are, (I live in southwest lower Michigan and most of my state are country music fans) and how much we want this show, but with a change in format and judges and for heaven's sake a new host, can I get an Amen on that!

That sounds nice but I think they only allow the top 4 on the nashville star tour. So i suggest that we all ban together and start a patition to send to the producers demanding she be allowed on that tour because we know that they played politics this season and it's not fair or right! yeah I recorded it on DVR off Of Dish Network. I then fast forward it till they came on. I learned they would be on by Shawn Mayer's myspace bulletin. I do believe they all tour for a bit together. So maybe you can go see them live! Which, I think that would be really cool.

It would be like watching an extended verson of NS cause they would get to sing more than 1 or 2 songs. (Without any judges of course) I heard that Ashley was going to be on that tour with them too. Which brings back some of my faith back in Nashville Star, the TV show, doing the right thing! I think Coffey will be on that tour too Which is ok IF they put Ashley on the bill.

All three of the contestants were on. They were talking about their "stories" and promoting the finals.

I watch the Today Show every day and before 8:00am they did not mention her name, I had to leave for work, sorry I missed her. I am a Melissa fan, but I think Shawn has done very well in the last few weeks.

Tommy wasn't a country singer either.He has a below average voice at best...he maybe could make it on star search or idol but not as a country singer...He seems to be a very nice person and as for his being the Navy I would give him a standing ovation!!!!But as a singer I don't know..but there again "different stokes for different folks".I thought he was an ok singer don't get me wrong...But I was much more impressed with him being in the Navy than his singing ability.I do wish him well !!

It would be a rotten shame if this show is a sham, no matter what network airs it. I guess we cannot blame NBC alone if they re-nig on their promises, because after reading about the other seasons on CMT, with exception of a few, the winners are not on the airwaves, I am correct? Prior to this year our cable company did not carry CMT so I am new to the network.

I am kind of excited for next Monday, still hoping for Melissa to win, Gabe would be my second choice.

I have read many interesting posts and some disturbing ones, and I have to agree with the opinion that Coffey should have been eliminated many weeks ago. You know the first guy that got kicked off might have been better but we will never know.

I did not know about the telemarketing nor the theft of the Bare Naked Ladies song, and after learning this it changes my perspective of any show that claims to be looking for the Next whatever. I did watch both of the Rock Star shows, and you know with exception of Rock Star INXS there have been no break out artists from those shows as promised. Are they all just for entertainment, do these folks give it all they have, leave their families and lives for a joke, I wonder? As I have stated before, I hope that NBC truly honors everything that they have promised, and they should give something special to Ashlee as she was robbed for being in the final four, all because of this Coffey deal. Even if he was to produce something and have it on country radio, I would not purchase and would probably turn the station.

We will see how it all shakes out next week, I am a Melissa fan and I really hope that she wins. Either way I hope that both she and Gabe get picked up by somne lable and have the times of their lives.
