Had Coffee been white, the judges would have kicked him off on the first show instead of Charlie, But because he was black and he had no talent and country is trying to pander to the black community, they kept him on. next year they will prolly have some transvestite on the show and give them special treatment! They can call it, "Country goes Gay" and bring back coffee!

I liked Gabe from the first time he sang....he's pure country. I think a cross between George Strait and Mark Chesnutt. Very smooth and sounds good no matter what he sings. But hey gotta give Melissa her due, she's got some great pipes. I think the judges made a mistake at the beginning, they should have kept Charlie. He sounds pretty good....hope to hear from Gabe in the near future. I too would like to see the show go back to USA network, not as much politics there....keep it out of Hollywood.

I gree with Pearl Heart...they were great(in my opinion) !!!Wish they could of stayed on the show !!I think they will get a contact...I hope anyway..they had some real talent and some real class....thier sound was great!! real harmony...what a switch from some of this crap they call country now !!! I guess maybe they are a little young but so is Taylor Swift..

WOW...Big mistake Nashville Star is making...I think they should put all the contestants out on the road. American Idol does, and their system seems to be working. I went to one of those concerts, and you need their top group in order to make an interesting show, especially since the indiviual artists don't have their own songs to sing yet, don't have their own CD. And most of these artist aren't even use to holding the stage for more than a song or two. Plus I miss the groups from this show "THIRD TOWN" & "Pearl Heart". I think Nashville Star should reconsider.

That's an interesting coincidence...seems like Rich had some psychic powers and just handed Shawn over to Steele so they'd all have one in the final three.

It's been pretty evident all along who the top two were: Melissa & Gabe....Ashlee and Shawn were close...but Shawn really showed what she was worth and pulled ahead at the end. The rest of the contestants couldn't even hold a candle to those four from the beginning.

Gabe has my vote: 1.) I think he can be a big draw to concerts, even as an opening act. 2.) He can record great records 3.) He has great songwriting ability 4.) He's a charming personality and a good "face" for the show 5.) He's been solid every night

Melissa is 2nd: 1.) I think she needs this win to be successful more than Gabe, but that doesn't mean I was going to vote for her. 2.) I do not think she'll draw crowds the way Gabe can. 3.) She can sing, and could make a few great hits, but 4.) She's never really written songs until now...that'll make it tough for her 5.) She struggled a little early in the show . Small margin for error, and Gabe outdid her slightly

Shawn is third 1.) Best comeback performances 2.) Edgy voice & style 3.) Struggled mightily early 4.) Not as strong a singer. 5.) too little too late

My family waited for an apology from Jewel Monday night and not to my surprise,we did not hear one. If you missed my comment last week,I was very hurt by the comment Jewel made to Sophie that perhaps she had a "seizure" when she rolled her eyes during the judges comment part of the show 2 weeks ago.My son has daily seizures and his illness has made me aware of how devasting seizures are to the person and their loved ones,Ido not find anything about them funny! If you or a loved one has had their life interrupted by this disease PLEASE help me in asking for an apology for the thousands of men,women and children struggling every day-I thought society had finally accepted this but I guess I was wrong. We will be watching to see who wins and if this season ends with Jewel doing the right thing-Ido not think she intended to hurt anyone with her comment but she said it and she should make it right!Please write in if you agree with me and if you or a loved one has seizures,hang in there-life is worth living!Brenda Kirby

NS thank you for bringing the true American talents to the screens of american TV. My wife and I have started watching NS from Portland, Oregon. Our choice last night was Gabe Garcia but that dosen't mean we didn't like or enjoy all the other contestants. All of them together make Nashville Star the success it is. We hated seeing Coffey leave but we have a feeling this is not the last of him we have seen. Our prayers and good wishes go to him and his daughter. Go Gabe!

I love to hear Melissa sing, she reminds me of Wynonna and even if she does not win NS I hope she makes it in the country music industry, I would be first in line to buy her CD. Her performances last night were done to perfection, I know that she receives comments on belting all of the time, but if you have the pipes, then use them. I have always felt that she had the most talent on the show and I really hope that she succeeds.

Gabe, I was a little surprised with Gabe last night, he seemed so low key, I enjoyed his performances but he seemed to be lacking somehow (heard mention that he had been ill). I somehow suspicion that with a concert of 10,000 people, someone in Nashville is talking about a contract with him whether he is the winner of NS or not. He is a cutie and I do enjoy his voice, but still think Melissa has him beat.

Shawn, Her performances last night were pretty good, I think that she may have a future in music, but I do not think that she is the next NS.

Let us hope that the show makes good on the promises that they have made to the final four and the winner. I would like to hear the final three on the radio in the years to come.

I hope that the final three are able to make their dreams come true not matter what America says.

Coffey is a political move. He cannot sing, that's for sure. People need to lay off the 'race competing' these days and just say 'human beings' , and we'd get more done. Doesn't matter where you come from. That's my opinion, but sadly, people don't think like I do. I always enjoyed hearing Charlie Pride sing, because he could. Coffey, on the other hand needs to leave the show, because his voice is terrible! Somehow, politicians are keeping him in the competition.

And as far as the term 'african-american' goes - if a white man were born in Africa, then moved to America, then he too would be an African-American, because that is a nationality, not a race. God, I hate it when people remark so much on 'race' these days.

I think Mellissa did the best tonight. Shawn did very well also..Gabe was not as good as he should and could of been.He just did ok.(far less than expected) At first I thought he was the best but Melissa has taken over.And Shanw did real well also..It is going to be a hard choice.....The best three are here(now)...
