I believe that Coffey should have been gone a long time ago. He is NOT the sound of Country! I am not sure who or what is keeping him here. When listening to country this is not one of the voices you think of.

Well, I think the last contestants left have much talent. But one of them just isn't no country star. Coffey sounds good and all but he just lacks that Country something. Now girl from Arlington, Texas rocks. Maybe just a little to confident. Gabe has the goods. And sounds like he could be a threat to all the other men country singers out there. And Shawn just sang her heart out this week. She does have talent just like the other two. So who ever wins should be a big star. Except for Coffey. He needs to try should try anthing else but country...

Shawn Mayer has a unique style and spunk and spark on the stage that no one else can compare to. She has a great voice that makes every song she sings fantastic. She is definitely a star and should win this competition. There is nothing fake about her. She is genuine. Vote for Shawn Mayer!! YA!

I really liked Ashlee's performance and song tonight. She done a great job! I think Coffey should have went insead of her. My favorites are Melissa and Gabe. Melissa just a little more ;).

I really believe that Coffey is not country. Ashley should still be on the show, and he should have been eliminated! I love the other competitors too, and it will be hard to decide who to vote for once Coffey is eliminated.

She reminds me of Wynonna. I really think it is great that a mother and wife has gone so far.

I'm still not sure why Coffey has not been voted off. He's been my least favorite from the beginning. He is not country. Melissa Lawson and Gabe Garcia are both so good. They are the competition I think. Both of them did great tonight. Whoever wins truly deserves it. Keep up the good work guys.

Man, both are very good. I think they are about equal. Gabe is like a modern day version of George Strait with a bit of Kenny Chesney mixed in. Melissa is a verson of Martina with some Faith. Great job by all contestants for sure.

i was grew up on the old country music, the kind of music that you felt in your heart when the musics being sung. I have watched the show for the past 4 years and gabe is the best i have seen on here since. he can sing country, he makes country music, he is what country music should sound like. the judges want all of them to come out and put on a show jump around and act like and idiot, but i don't call john rich country he doesn't even know what country is. You look at george strait, alan jackson, conway twitty, merle haggard. you don't see them jumping around on stage acting like a clown in a circus. their there for you to hear them sing not put on a circus for you. If anyone should win nashville star it should be Gabe because he knows the true meaning of country and he shows it. HE MAKES COUNTRY MUSIC ALL OVER AGAIN. I have watched this show from the beginning and I believe you have talent on the stage. The issue for me is whether the judges are not taking them seriously for their abilities. I know your trying to find a individual to sell records lets be clear about that. However, image and vocal talent will take care of this. The judges need to stop making the show about them and make it about the ones who are trying to be in their place. Whether you chose one of the top five or not the future of this show shouldn't be about the judges. Several of the people who have left this show have gone on to get signed by someone and are recording as we speak. Therefore, all the comments about who should win and should be gone by now are not founded.

I am wondering why Coffey is still on the show? He cannot sing at all!! His voice sounds like a chipmunks! I get sick to my stomach everytime he sings (or so they call it that). He should have been the one to go instead of Pearl Heart they was alot better than him.
Melissa and Gabe are the best ones on the show and it will be a toss as to which one will be standing at the end. Good luck to you both.

I don't understand how every week when I get on this website Melissa is the huge vote getter, but when it comes time for the show, she's near the bottom. People, if you like her then call in & vote after the show. Not sure if the votes on here count or not. Also, I'm beginning to wonder if we can keep voting for the same person during those 2 hours after the show. So maybe that's how Melissa is not at the top on the show, we need to keep calling & voting over & over again. With computers nowadays you would think that there would be a way to know that a certain phone number has already voted, so it is only allowed to count once. Guess I need to try to vote for Melissa twice next week & see what happens.

Still alittle upset about the week pearl heart and aslee where in the bottom two. Personally I don,t think either one would win. But I do think that there are others who should have been shipped out way before pearl heart. My final three is Gabe, Melissa & Ashlee. although this past week after waiting I finally saw something in Shawn. Why ? in gods name is Coffey still around. I cringe when he sings. I,m not saying he can,t sing when he does coffey its a country music contest not a rap contest. just sing the freakin songs dips on last weeks performance. But you also need to sing the s___ kickin songs too. My final perdection in a close one Gabe wins out over Melissa. And yes Melissa your voice is awsome. But to me Gabe is what I think of when I think of country music.

If you want someone that can actually sing and sell records, Melissa is the the only one to vote for. When you listen to the recap at the end of the show, she is hands down the best singer. If anyone besides her wins you will have the same problem you have had with the past winners-no record sells. Buddy Jewel is the only one that has been on this show that went on to have a few hits. These other performers sound like they should be in the county fair talent show not on a major T.V. station.

I also think the judges need to come down off the their high horse, they are the ones who picked these jokers in the first place and now you bash them? I think you need a reality check.

I feel she has grown each night on the show. She tries to do what the program wants her to try to do, does except their comments. Great program to watch and enjoy the young talent, that is trying to make it in the music world.

Melissa is good, but Gabe is awsome! I have not heard a flaw the whole time when he sings. He sounds as good, if not better, as the original artist of the songs that he is singing. Gabe is an instant hit! He is the next Nashville Star! Just listen to the crowd!!!
